Welcome to Thyme Out Tearooms located in the beautiful county of Donegal set it in what has been acknowledged as the coolest place on the planet!

With the amazing scenery and friendly people, we have entertained and welcomed visitors from all over the world to our beautiful home, serving homemade cake and savoury treats and providing Thyme Out for the local and tourist alike.
There is nowhere more beautiful in Donegal than Glenveagh National Park where one of our Thyme Out tearooms is located. You will find our Letterkenny Thyme Out Tearooms at Alcorns Garden Centre.
We actually bake daily in the origional kitchens of Glenveagh Castle, keeping the tradition alive of creating beautiful homemade brown bread and mouth watering cakes and bakes.
The dramatic scenery , magnificent Glenveagh Castle and the grounds of Glenveagh are a a paradise for anyone interested in gardening, walking, exploring , blogging about this beautiful part of Donegal.
We welcomed a group of American bloggers who had attended the TBEX conference recently through Donegal tourism and they were captivated by the magical beauty of our location, they quite enjoyed our traditional tea brack and home baking as well!

Apart from our traditional tearoom beside the castle we have a seasonal restaurant from Easter to late Autumn and this is where we host any larger groups or tours that are visiting Donegal.
