Our Thyme Out Tearooms in Glenveagh National Park are located in the courtyard right beside Glenveagh Castle. Baking and homemade cake in Glenveagh has been a time honoured tradition throughout the years and the Thyme Out team bake fresh here every day.

Apple tarts, homemade scones with jam and cream, carrot cake, Lemon drizzle cake are just some of the huge range of sweet home bakes that are served every day. In addition to fresh local ingredients from Donegal for our salads and meats (from local producers) savoury dishes, sandwiches and pies.The Chicken and Leek pie is a Thyme Out favorite among our visitors.

If you are on a family day out in Donegal Thymeoutis familyy friendly and has lots of options for children including a cool puzzle sheet especially designed around Glenveagh National Park.

We offer an outdoor eating area and we provide a fresh water bowl if you want to bring your dog along on your Thyme Out visit!

Located in the Visitors Centre where you get your tickets for the bus to take you to the castle, Thymeout Restaurant serves hot food, sandwiches & irresistible homemade desserts every day with a special carvery lunch on Sundays… Family friendly right beside the children’s play park and also serving delicious ice cream creations!. As with all our locations this restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has high chairs available.
